Rihanna's Russian Roulette

"The Wait is ova", as Rihanna puts it. Rihanna has announced the completion of her fourth album "Rated R" which releases Monday, November 23rd...for all you Rihanna fans.
Anthony Mandler directed the video and will appear on ABC primetime. The song was written and produced by Def JAM artist Ne-YO who was seen at Circle House studios in North Miami working on Rihanna's album. Cool dude.

Rihannna's first single "Russian Roulette" has caused a major stir online receiving mixed reviews. Rihanna has EVERYONE talking which in my opinion is exactly what she's looking for. She has everyone listening (4 million people and more to be exact) Online discussion bulletins...Bloggers all over have their own opinion of what they think of Russian Roulette. The song's edgy, dark lyrics have people calling Rihanna "suicidal, dark, crazy, has lost her state of mind".

Singer/songwriter Tiffany Evans, feels "Russian Roulette" could possibly lead many Rihanna fans to commit suicide.
Tiffany Evans best known for her single "Promise" performed by Ciara wrote on her Twitter page on Wednesday morning to discuss her take on Rihanna's single. She tweeted:

Russian Roulette= Suicidal Rate gon sky rocket!

You gotta watch what u say. Because there are a lot of weak people in the world. They are susceptible to anything so anything you say or do some people actually do listen. So make sure its nothing bad. It’s okay to be deep, but not murder deep.

Man! I really wish I could tell you guys what the industry really is and what stars are apart of destroying this world. The stars who worship satan and those who have killed to get the respect they have now. You’d be verrrry surprise. Some of your favorite people pretend to worship God but they only do that to save face. Or seem innocent.

Satan was head of music in heaven. He uses influential people…to help influence the world. Think about that. Once u make a certain amount of money. Just know that that’s when they ask u to join. To get in you have accept the beast, worship. Once you join they assist u with ur career.make u huge.only if u agree and obey to destroy God’s word.and His children.

Ppl listen and pay attention. It’s a war going on right now between Good and Evil. Evil will rule this world for a min. The people that have this power are the people that RULE the whole world. I’m done I won’t say anymore before I get in trouble.

Now she may have a point..but u have to remember the music industry is a "dog eat dog" world and this maybe Rihanna's way of gaining even more EXPOSURE before her album drops. I mean the object is to find ways to SELL albums...to PROMOTE yourself ans SELL the product..Umbrella was a HIT and she's gotta TOP that. So hey..u gotta do what ya gotta do. I mean who DOESN'T love controversy. This song is perfect and the timing is just right. The only thing I do not like about the song is the end..Rihanna takes a deep breath, you can hear the gun and BOOM...not feeling that part at ALL..she could of left that out. Other than that, she's gonna receive the buzz she's asking for and Rihanna knows exactly what she's doing and so far..it's working..I love it...If i was her..I'd do the same and she's doing a pretty damn good job. I just hope that for those who tend to be musically influenced, don't take Rihanna's song literal. Please realize she did NOT write the song..NEYO did..and at the end of the day, I'm pretty sure RiRi's intentions were not to have people kill themselves. To me, as an artist, you should be able to express yourself the way you feel at any given time and be aware that for every action, there is a consequence.

Here's the link to the song..check it out..and feel free to comment...
